2012年毕业于中科院物理所,之后在 Carnegie Mellon University 和 香港大学做博士后。
报告人简介:
We investigate the Berry phase effect on transport, optical phenomena. We predict the magneto-valley transport effect and a dislocation induced topological current,which is dictated by a second-class Chern invariant in three-dimensional topological semimetals. We also demonstrate that the Berry curvature induces the energy splitting of exciton states with opposite angular momentum in monolayer of transition metal dichalcogenides.Chiral anomaly is a remarkable electromagnetic response and closely relates to the nontrivial Berry curvature in momentum space of three dimensionalWeyl semimetals. We find that chiral anomaly leads to exotic properties of plasmons in three dimensional Weyl semimetals.
